The update also enables “returning to a real possibility”: a new Cauldron incantation allows players to go back to an earlier point in the story to replay key moments—such as the True Ending. That’s a particularly useful option in Hades 2, a game known for its strong emphasis on narrative, branching paths, and player choice.
Fated Prophecies have been adjusted too: several character-related prophecies, including the one tied to the story epilogue, now progress more quickly than before. The Crossroads hub receives quality-of-life fixes as well, with many decorative items seeing reduced Kudos prices compared to prior costs.
Supergiant also confirms that any excess Kudos already spent will be refunded. The complete patch notes list numerous additional tweaks, so it’s worth reading them in full—and opting into the Steam Beta branch if you want to try the preview.
