GTA Online – What’s New: “Random Transformations” Races and Community Recommendations

In GTA Online, a new race variant called “Transformations” has been introduced, named “Random Transformations.” These differ from the familiar ones because it’s unpredictable which vehicle you’ll find yourself in at the transition checkpoint. It’s easy to guess that if there’s a body of water ahead, you’ll be in a watercraft, but which one? It could be the Marquis yacht, quickly dashing any hopes of maintaining the lead. Or, if air space is up next, in a fighter jet, leaving rivals lagging in helicopters. It all hinges on sheer randomness.

In “Chances,” the vehicle category you’ll be using is known, whereas in “Improbabilities,” there’s a significantly wider choice of vehicles.

But that wasn’t the only novelty today. Developers reminded that in “Online” modes, one should treat others with respect and play fairly. A good reminder for veterans and an introductory note for newcomers. “Even criminals have a code of honor.”

'Say Sorry, Be Nice'. Interestingly, such slogan has been previously used in the merch for Red Hook Crit bicycle races, sponsored by R*.

Violating these guidelines, like displaying intolerance or making insults, could lead to a ban. “Rockstars” will be aided by an automatic moderation system now active across all platforms in catching wrongdoers. Voice chat is by default turned off now. To enable it, one must access the settings menu. Also, it’s mentioned that spam in private messages on PC should decrease.
