GTA 6: Debunking Another Hoax About GTA 6 Yesterday at 17:15 OPla G1190

Recently, a supposedly new leak of GTA 6 started circulating online. At first glance, the short clip, appearing to show a game version of the Wynwood district, which actually exists in Miami, seems genuine. There’s even graffiti on the wall with the catchy phrase “Have a Vice day” from the trailer.

However, upon examining the details, it becomes obvious that this is a fake. The community has already compiled a detailed explanation as to why this is the case.

  • The van in one shot has the Bravado logo, but not in another. The symbol on its body is an inverted Amazon logo. While it’s possible the game might feature a parody of the giant company, this seems too lazily executed. Additionally, the van itself is actually a Fiat Ducato minibus.
  • The animation of getting into the car is very similar to that in Cyberpunk 2077.
  • The “image” on the tablet inside the car looks identical to how a surface would appear if no textures were applied to the model in the Unreal editor.

An indirect piece of evidence for authenticity was supposed to be the fact that this video started getting deleted “at the request of the rights holder.” However, upon examining the sender of these requests, it becomes clear they have no connection to Take-Two Interactive.

Interestingly, a creative named Gary Penn worked at DMA Design and Rockstar Games from 1997 to 2000. It’s curious whether the forger knew about this or if it’s just a coincidence.
