As initially reported by Nintendeal, a leaked GameStop memo confirms that “This bundle SKU has now reached the end of its lifecycle, and additional units will no longer be manufactured.” The document advises staff to prioritize these units for customers seeking value, while noting that future shipments of the Nintendo Switch 2 will feature the base console only.

GameStop later confirmed the memo’s authenticity on social media, stating, “The Mario Kart World Switch 2 Bundle will no longer be produced,” and urging gamers to secure their consoles while inventory lasts. At present, the bundle can still be found on Nintendo’s official webstore, though stock is expected to dwindle rapidly.

Given that Nintendo previously launched a Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle, it is highly probable that future flagship titles—such as new Zelda or Animal Crossing entries—will receive similar promotional hardware pairings. Furthermore, considering how frequently Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was bundled with the original hardware, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle return as a temporary Black Friday exclusive in the future.

Recent updates to Mario Kart World have streamlined friend lobbies, improved intermission tracks, and finally added a dedicated “Loud” setting for the game’s soundtrack.
