THQ Nordic has finalized its acquisition of Alone within the Dark and Act of War from Atari.
The acquisition of Alone within the Dark and the Act of War IPs have been introduced as we speak by THQ Nordic. This most likely explains the trademark renewal which popped up again in May.
Alone within the Dark is a survival horror title, and the primary installment was launched in 1992 by Frédérick Raynal and Infogrames.
The final game launched within the collection was 2015’s Alone in the Dark: Illumination, which took the collection again to its Lovecraftian roots.
Act of War, the real-time technique game developed by Eugen Systems, was launched in 2005 and the story written by bestselling writer Dale Brown.
Information on future plans for both IP weren’t offered by THQ.
