Former CD Projekt RED developers announce a large-scale action RPG about vampires
The Polish studio Rebel Wolves was founded by individuals who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Their debut project, The Blood of Dawnwalker, has been in development for two years. The cinematic trailer showcases several gameplay scenes, with more details to be revealed in the summer.
The game’s setting unfolds in an alternate 14th-century Europe, right after the plague epidemic. It is at this moment that ancient vampires decide to seize power.
The developers promise a large open world and freedom of action. The release date is still unknown, but the platforms have been confirmed — the game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
