Entertainment industry veteran Rob Owens has joined NoCap Shows as vice president of talent, where he will book and promote NoCap’s innovative digital concerts and headline performances, connecting artists and their fans around the world.
Previously the senior director of global touring for AEG Presents, Owens has also served as director of booking and operations for Netherlander Concerts where he worked for 15 years and booked the historic Greek Theatre in LA. Owens will bring his expertise in the industry to NoCap’s innovative streaming services and extensive range of artist and venue partnerships.
“I am beyond excited to be joining the amazing team at NoCap shows. NoCap is on the forefront of innovation in the digital PPV event space,” Owens tells Billboard. “The opportunities I will be able to bring to artists, agents, and managers on this platform are unlimited.”
NoCap is a one-of-a-kind “digital experience” platform that helps artists put on can’t-miss online events for global audiences. Founded by musicians Cisco Adler and Donavon Frankenreiter, NoCap has powered events for Jimmy Buffett, Machine Gun Kelly, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Kehlani among others with more projects in the works for 2021.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rob onto the NoCap team,” Adler says. “His years of experience and relationships are invaluable and we look forward to all he can bring to NoCap and this new frontier in entertainment.”
