Father promises son GTA VI and PS5, but only if he 106% completes Crash Bandicoot 4

In this latest installment, the developers have crafted intense trials that push even the most seasoned gamers to their limits.

Recently, a Crash Bandicoot enthusiast going by the handle HarrisonTheHutt shared that he gifted the latest entry in the franchise to his son.

The two struck a deal: if the boy manages to unlock every single achievement, he will be rewarded with a brand-new console and a copy of Grand Theft Auto VI:

“I bought Crash Bandicoot 4 on Steam for my son this Christmas. I told him that if he earns every achievement, I’ll buy him a PS5 and GTA VI for his birthday next year. He’s already struggling quite a bit. Good luck, kiddo!”

The twist in this gamer dad’s challenge is that Crash Bandicoot 4 is notoriously punishing, even for series veterans. Earning the coveted “Platinum” achievement—awarded for collecting everything else—requires far more than a standard 100% completion.

The developers included a hidden “bonus ending” that requires a staggering 106% completion rate. To reach it, players must conquer every level and boss fight across multiple modes, gather every relic and gem, and master every grueling challenge the game offers.
