Fans Spot Half‑Life 3 Hint in Geoff Keighley’s Profile — His Attempt to Explain Backfired

Players are still scouring the most unexpected places for signs of a new entry in the franchise.

Many have been hoping Valve will finally announce Half-Life 3. In their hunt for clues, fans inspect all sorts of sources — including the social profile of The Game Awards host, who occasionally shares teaser images online.

Recently, Geoff Keighley posted a screenshot of his Steam front page and viewers noticed he had a single game listed in his wishlist.

That sparked speculation among the community. Geoff first replied with an eye emoji via his post, and the following day he shared another screenshot — this time showing the wishlist entry for the game Dadlympics.

There is, however, a detail worth noting: the Dadlympics entry is listed as added on November 18, while an earlier screenshot showing “1 game in wishlist” was dated November 17.

The TGA host’s explanation did little to erase fans’ suspicion that an announcement connected to Half-Life could be planned for The Game Awards.

Later, Geoff posted another image — which some observers said resembled the cascade resonance from Half-Life — but the artwork is actually a promotional image for an island in Fortnite.
