The Green Man Festival has pulled back the curtain on its 2026 roster, revealing Wolf Alice, Four Tet, Wilco, and Mogwai as the primary headliners for the upcoming edition.
Set to unfold from August 14–17, the celebrated independent gathering will return to the breathtaking vistas of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park in the heart of Wales. As is tradition, the four-day event promises an eclectic fusion of international heavyweights and emerging talent from the U.K. and Ireland across its various stages.
The musical journey begins on Thursday night with a powerful opening set by Mogwai. Friday evening will belong to American indie-rock stalwarts Wilco, while Saturday sees the return of electronic pioneer Four Tet, marking his first headline appearance at the festival since 2019. To bring the weekend to a triumphant close, recent BRIT Award winners Wolf Alice are scheduled to perform the final headline slot on Sunday night.
Beyond the main headliners, the lineup is stacked with formidable talent. Attendees can look forward to performances from Cat Power, Sparks, The Beta Band, Aldous Harding, and Anna Calvi. The bill further includes Baxter Dury, Cate Le Bon, Dry Cleaning, Nation of Language, and Wednesday.
The announcement also highlights a diverse selection of acts such as Shame, Mannequin Pussy, The Beths, Fcukers, Daniel Avery, Smerz, Sorry, and Panic Shack. Additional names like Westside Cowboy, Maria Somerville, and Tyler Ballgame round out the initial wave of artists, with more performers expected to be revealed in the months ahead.
Established in 2003, Green Man has grown into a prestigious fixture on the festival circuit, previously hosting icons like St. Vincent, Kraftwerk, and Big Thief. The 2025 edition was headlined by Underworld, TV On The Radio, and Wet Leg. With a capped capacity of 25,000, the festival prides itself on a multi-disciplinary experience that incorporates theater, comedy, literature, and science workshops alongside its musical programming.
While general tickets for the 2026 event have already sold out, organizers recommend that fans seek out official resale options through their partnership with Tixel.
