Enthusiast Creates AI Driver Settings for Cyberpunk 2077 — Road Traffic Becomes Unique to Each District
While fans wait for the next installment of the franchise, some aren’t standing still — they’re adding variety to their in-game adventures.
Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 is divided into numerous districts and populated by a wide range of factions. Recently, modder cradilyex introduced a way for players to adjust traffic patterns across the city’s neighborhoods.
With the Night City Traffic Overhaul mod, players can shape their own version of the streets of Night City.
Customize each district to your liking: populate streets with dangerous gangs, boost police presence to create a tense atmosphere, or introduce public transport and municipal vehicles for a calmer, more picturesque city. Or mix them all together.
cradilyex added sliders for every district to control categories of vehicles (taxis, police cars, etc.). A setting of “1” means the category is rare, while “10” indicates it’s very common. The creator warned that “if you set a gang slider to 10, traveling through their territory becomes a nightmare.”
