Balance Changes and Feature Updates

Nightfarers — Class Adjustments

Wylder

  • Claw Shot now grants greater poise during its cast animation.
  • Claw Shot inflicts increased stamina damage against enemies who are blocking.

Guardian

  • Strength and Dexterity gains from level-ups have been raised.
  • The Steel Guard passive now covers a wider angle.
  • The weapon portion of the Wings of Salvation Ultimate Art has an extended reach.
  • Halberd guard-counter attacks now deal greater damage.

Duchess

  • Dexterity gained at level-up has been increased.
  • Certain Dagger attacks now deal higher damage.
  • The second heavy attack for two-handed Daggers has had its damage reduced.
  • This adjustment does not affect charged heavy attacks.
  • The Finale Ultimate Art now lasts longer.

Raider

  • Greataxe and Great Hammer strikes are more effective at staggering foes.
  • The Retaliation skill now reaches farther.

Revenant

  • The summoned spirits for Revenant are now rendered with adjusted transparency.
  • Players can pass through Revenant’s spirits Helen and Frederick without collision.

Recluse

  • Magic Cocktail’s offensive spells now deal increased damage.
  • Spell cast times when using Magic Cocktail have been shortened.

Executor

  • Overall attack power is increased while the Cursed Sword is active.
  • The Cursed Sword’s weapon skill deals more damage when the blade is unleashed.
  • Some attacks are strengthened while Aspects of the Crucible: Beast is active.

Weapons, Passives & Special Effects

  • Jump-attacks while dual-wielding now inflict more stagger damage with select small and medium weapons.
  • Jump-attacks while dual-wielding now inflict less stagger damage with certain large weapons.
  • The death-status potency from the Eclipse Shotel’s Death Flare skill has been increased.
  • Power of Vengeance and Power of House Marais passives now have a maximum stacking cap and adjusted strengths.
  • Adjusted the stagger produced by the “Guard counters trigger holy bursts” passive so it no longer resets an enemy’s posture break state.

Relic Effect Changes

  • The Wylder relic that adds fiery follow-ups to standard greatsword attacks when using Character Skill now consumes stamina for those follow-ups.
  • Increased the damage of the burn effect from Wylder’s area-fire Art activation.
  • Normalized the burn power of Wylder’s area-fire so it’s consistent between one- and two-handed stances.
  • Extended the duration increase granted by the Ironeye relic that prolongs weak point windows.
  • Enhanced the potency of the Continuous HP Recovery relic effect.
  • Increased how much HP is restored by relics that heal when using medicinal boluses and similar items.
  • Raised the potency of the relic effect that increases Max HP when Recluse activates an Ultimate Art.
  • Changed that Max HP boost so it remains until the user takes damage, even after the art ends.
  • Players now earn more Runes from the Critical Hits Earn Runes relic effect.
  • Improved the HP-restoration potency tied to specific weapon-type relic effects.
  • Improved the FP-restoration potency tied to specific weapon-type relic effects.
  • Reduced the duration of the “Improved Poise & Damage Negation When Knocked Back by Damage” relic effect.

Other Nightfarers Changes

  • Adjusted how visible the “Rykard’s Rancor” sorcery appears.

Everdark Sovereign — Enemy Adjustments

Sentient Pest (Everdark Sovereign)

  • When possessed by Animus, Ascendant Light, Sentient Pest deals higher attack and stamina damage to guarding Nightfarers.
  • Animations and attack patterns for Animus, Ascendant Light, Gnoster, Wisdom of Night, and Faurtis Stoneshield have been revised.
  • Stagger durations from some Animus, Ascendant Light attacks against Nightfarers have been shortened.

Equilibrious Beast (Everdark Sovereign)

  • The buff applied to summoned condemned Nightfarers can now be removed by Law of Regression.
  • Light dropped by defeated condemned Nightfarers now grants a stronger enhancement.
  • The condemned Guardian’s attack power has been reduced.
  • Removed the damage-negation boost previously applied upon re-summoning condemned units.
  • Condemned Nightfarers now have lower resistance to the death status effect.
  • Adjusted how condemned Nightfarers react to the player’s ranged attacks.
  • Refined targeting priority for condemned Nightfarers under particular combat rules.

Note: We have identified an issue where condemned Nightfarers summoned during this encounter may not appear under certain conditions. A future patch will address this rendering problem.

Darkdrift Knight (Everdark Sovereign)

  • Fulghor, Champion of Nightglow, now has increased HP and deals more stamina damage to guarding Nightfarers.
  • Certain attacks from Fulghor have had their damage increased.

Other Enemy Adjustments

  • Condemned Nightfarers that appear during events now respond differently to ranged player attacks.
  • Added a stagger reaction when heavy attacks (including Ultimate Arts) strike the Red Wolf of the King Consort boss.
  • Fixed an issue where some Marionette Soldier attacks were less likely than intended to connect with players.

Limveld Changes

  • Night’s Tide damage increases after the second night boss have been heightened.
  • Sentient Pest spawn points have been adjusted so incursions are less likely to occur far from the player.

Menu & UI

  • The Holy attribute icon has been redesigned for clarity.

Multiplayer — Disconnect Penalties

  • The rate and application of penalties for disconnecting from sessions have been revised.
  • Disconnecting—whether from network issues or by quitting during an active session—may impose restrictions on multiplayer features. Rejoining the same session removes the penalty associated with that disconnection.

Bug Fixes & Technical Corrections

  • Corrected an overly short post-attack delay for right-handed Greatswords used by Wylder when quickly casting Sorceries or Incantations with a left-hand weapon after an attack.
  • Resolved an issue where Guardian’s Wings of Salvation Ultimate Art could be interrupted during activation.
  • Fixed a separate case where Wings of Salvation could be deflected and interrupted unexpectedly.
  • Backstepping as Duchess now accepts pre-inputs for skill commands.
  • Eliminated a condition that allowed spells cast via Magic Cocktail to be duplicated under certain circumstances.
  • Prevented allied players from clipping through tombstones when Totem Stella is used.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Revenant’s summoned spirits from reviving after their HP reached zero.
  • Corrected special-effect visuals that were appearing above Revenant instead of on the spirits.
  • Executor can now land critical hits with the Cursed Sword even if the right-hand weapon ordinarily cannot crit.
  • Fixed the Relic Effect “HP Restoration upon Thrusting Counterattack” so it applies to Executor’s Cursed Sword attacks.
  • Resolved an issue preventing pre-inputs after deflecting with the Cursed Sword in certain cases.
  • Fixed a bug where stacked effects from Power of Vengeance and Power of House Marais vanished when opening a large door and moving to the final battle from the Spirit Shelter.
  • Corrected weapon rarity display for items placed directly on the field from Dormant Power.
  • Fixed an issue where walk-triggered passive effects did not activate while moving horizontally and using precision-aimed shots with Bow and Crossbow.
  • Addressed a bug that could leave the player unresponsive for several seconds after executing an attack from certain stances with specific Skills.
  • Applied the “Improved Charged Sorceries” passive to the sorcery Shattering Crystal as intended.
  • Resolved a scenario where Frostbite could be applied to players due to accumulating frostbite from some enemy attacks while using an Ultimate Art.
  • Fixed a case in the Equilibrious Beast fight where “Libra, Creature of Night” could move beneath the terrain.
  • Fixed an issue where levels could decrease without healing from flasks when False Blessing occurred during the Equilibrious Beast encounter.
  • Also fixed a bug that caused level-down when False Blessing activated but the healing action was interrupted by enemy attacks before HP recovery occurred.
  • Ensured blessings do not become usable again after the second night boss defeat.
  • Corrected unintended inputs and movement behaviors when using the Spectral Hawk; this completes fixes begun in App ver. 1.02.
  • Fixed a transport bug that could prevent correct placement in the battle area if the player fell to their death during a cutscene while moving to the final battle in the Spirit Shelter.
  • Addressed a networking-related issue where Dormant Power might fail to spawn after defeating an enemy under unstable connection conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where a used Wending Grace effect could re-trigger when rejoining a session after disconnecting.
  • Reduced rendering load for certain Everdark Sovereign Tricephalos attacks on PS4 and Xbox One.

PC-Specific Fixes

  • Improved target switching responsiveness when using diagonal inputs.
  • Enhanced stability for various PC environments.
