At the Jump Festa 2026 event, the long-awaited announcement for the third season of the “Dandadan” anime finally arrived, confirming a scheduled return in 2027.
Science SARU will once again take the helm for the production, maintaining the high animation standards established in the first two seasons. The official reveal was celebrated alongside members of the series’ Japanese voice cast.
According to the production team, the narrative will pick up immediately following the second season’s dramatic cliffhanger. The previous installment concluded slightly ahead of schedule, leaving the finale of the “Kaiju Arc” unadapted and several pivotal chapters waiting for their debut.
Season 3 is expected to resolve these lingering plot threads before transitioning into the “Space Globalists Arc.” It remains to be seen whether the upcoming season will cover the entire arc through Chapter 120 or focus on a specific portion of the source material.
