Cutest Preview & Interview: Baby Animals, Variety & Dynamic Pastures

As the launch of Farming Simulator 25 draws near, we felt a sprinkle of cuteness would be a delightful addition. Let’s commence with a GIF that’s quite audible in its charm:

We even had a conversation with our esteemed Senior Animator, Rahul Narode, regarding the charming animations of our young, four-legged inhabitants. And let’s not forget the ones with two legs—hello, chickens! Explore the interview below for more baby GIFs to captivate you.

But that’s not all! We have some insights into the variety of animals and how you can further personalize their habitats—you can even design custom enclosures for your animal pens. This means more tailored farms that specialize in animal care. Isn’t that wonderful?

We are enhancing control over animal pens for farmers, offering customization options such as color changes, solar panel additions, and most importantly, the ability to personally design fences. Tailor your layout to craft any desired shape, even accommodating obstacles or space already in use!

Who deserves credit for these charming animations? It’s this person!

Please introduce yourself and describe your role!
I am a Senior Animator at GIANTS Software. I have worked on various animations for Farming Simulator 25, ensuring they meet our high standards before they are integrated into the game.

Where do you start when animating? What are the steps involved?
Before I dive into animating, I contemplate the specific needs of the animal and the desired outcome. This involves considering their characteristics, observing their movements, and collecting appropriate references.

I search for video references that portray the genuine behavior of animals. Understanding the animal’s nature is essential for capturing every nuance.

Once I identify intriguing movements and compile satisfactory references, I commence animating, going through several revision stages to ensure they meet our standards.

What unique behaviors do baby animals exhibit, and what challenges arise in animating them?
The goal is to balance realism with a sense of swiftness and adorableness.

Animating small animals is challenging due to their rapid and intricate movements, making capturing every detail difficult in keyframe animation.

Do you have a favorite type of baby animal, and why?
In Farming Simulator 25, my favorite would be the baby goats because of their joyful hops and jumps—I adore their playful spirit. However, in reality, rabbits captivate me. They are tiny yet swift, and their sudden starts are both endearing and intriguing. Their ear movements particularly fascinate me.

Is there anything else you’d like to convey to our fans?
We have crafted a distinctive game with Farming Simulator 25, and I hope our community enjoys it as much as we enjoyed creating it. Our team has put immense effort into making it extraordinary!
