Salutations, Battle-Brothers!
First and foremost, we wish you a phenomenal start to 2026. We are anticipating a spectacular year for gaming and are thrilled to continue expanding the Space Marine 2 universe. There is a wealth of content scheduled for the coming months, so we appreciate your continued passion and patience! 💙
Regarding current updates, we have just deployed Hotfix 11.3, which ensures full compatibility for Microsoft Store users. Meanwhile, our focus shifts to the monumental Patch 12: The Techmarine Update. Let’s dive into what you can expect.

Patch 12 Overview
We are currently aiming for a late February launch. Keep your sensors locked for the exact date.
Intel on the Techmarine ⚙️
The arrival of the Omnissiah’s chosen is imminent! To tide you over, we’ve gathered the essential data on this upcoming class. For those who want a deep dive, you can find the full Devblog here. Otherwise, here is the executive summary: 😉
Defining the Techmarine Role
Techmarines serve as masters of crowd suppression and territorial defense. In the heat of melee, they devastate foes with the Omnissian Axe, yet they remain lethal at mid-range thanks to a versatile ballistic arsenal.
The class features two signature tactical assets:
- Tarantula Sentry Gun: While a Techmarine is present, these turrets appear throughout the battlefield. Only a Techmarine can initialize them, after which they provide autonomous fire support until depleted or destroyed.
- Servo-Gun: This personal ability allows the marine to discharge a high-intensity volley against priority targets, further enhanced via class-specific perks.
The Techmarine will be fully playable across all PvE and PvP environments upon Patch 12’s release. As always, this class is a free update—no DLC or microtransactions required.

A glimpse at the Omnissian Axe—available for both Loyalist and Heretic Astartes!

Note: The Omnissian Axe is exclusive to the Techmarine class.
In the Eternal War (PvP) mode, Chaos players will mirror the Techmarine’s capabilities as the Red Corsairs Warpsmith.
New PvE Operation: “Disruption” 💥
Patch 12 introduces a fresh cooperative mission titled “Disruption.” Here is your briefing:
“Veridian Squad is tasked with reinforcing Cadian survivors under siege by Tyranid swarms. However, a priority communiqué from an Ecclesiarchy Priest has revealed a Thousand Sons ritual defiling a nearby Cathedral. Both threats must be neutralized simultaneously to prevent a catastrophic collapse of imperial operations on Avarax.”
