Community Content Showcase Vol. 12

Welcome to our newly enhanced version of the community newsletters! Much like previous issues, we continue to spotlight a range of mods in each edition. However, we now dive deeper into the realm of community creations such as streamers, videos, shorts, and artwork!

Before diving in, I extend heartfelt gratitude to all 16,000 respondents of our sentiment survey! Your invaluable feedback equips us with the insights necessary to elevate Ready or Not as we forge ahead into the future!

On to the exciting news, we are thrilled to unveil our second mapping contest! Stay tuned for a detailed announcement this Monday, which will shed more light on the contest specifics and its theme. An enticing detail to share now is our commitment of a $6,000 prize pool for three fortunate mappers or teams.

Community Content Showcase Vol. 12

Continuing with our newsletter theme, here is a glimpse into the recent maps crafted by some of the most skilled mappers from our community. The three highlighted here come from seasoned RoN Modders.

As always, the mods are listed without any particular rank, just numbered for clarity and discussion.

1. Office Offensive by DecoyMoth

DecoyMoth plays to their strengths by delivering another masterfully designed map that pushes players into exceptionally tight spaces, testing the communication skills of even the most seasoned teams or the expertise of solitary operatives. It’s a classic example of straightforward execution with extraordinary distinction, shining among more intricate designs and undertakings.

2. Hell Comes to the Hills by Delta

Delta, a dedicated modder known for guiding peers through the intricacies of modding, presents a map that’s captivated audiences on their YouTube channel. This offers a wealth of insights for those eager to indulge in map creation, providing a solid foundation for budding mappers.

Beyond its origins, the map delivers an exquisite ambiance matched by perfect presentation. Its open layout embodies a luxurious, realistic high-end home, demanding vigilance from teams that linger in one location too long.

3. A Florida Man – A Trailer In Darkness by StentheAwesome

StentheAwesome amplifies the notorious theme of the infamous ‘Florida Man’ to extraordinary levels by implementing features rarely seen in such modded maps. This map lets you relocate team members across the map for dual entries, enter through windows, harness the game’s audio system effectively, and more.

The map design is equally commendable, presenting a dauntingly open architecture with confined, cluttered spaces, alongside a perilously congested backyard should any suspects manage to flee.

We eagerly anticipate what further contributions the community will deliver as the game evolves, endowing modders with more tools to enhance their craft and polish their creations.
