Coffee Talk Returns: New Story, New Characters, and the Atmosphere of Tokyo at Night
Publisher and developer Chorus Worldwide, together with Toge Productions, announced that Coffee Talk Tokyo will launch on March 5, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
Set in a late-night café in Tokyo, the game puts you in the role of a barista preparing drinks that comfort both humans and fantastical patrons. Each cup helps shape the tone of conversations, revealing the stories, dreams, and struggles of a new roster of characters.
Players can experiment with hot and cold beverages, craft distinctive latte-art using stencils, and explore Tomodachill — an in-game social feed that uncovers hidden details about the customers.
The soundtrack is composed by Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, who scored the original Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly, blending mellow jazz with soft rhythms inspired by Tokyo’s summer nights.
The game introduces new characters and narratives, lets players influence dialogues through drink choices, expands the latte-art toolkit, features an interactive social feed, and delivers a relaxing lo-fi soundtrack.
