Bruce Springsteen Headlining John Henry’s Friends Benefit: Pro Members Get Presale Access

This year’s John Henry’s Friends Benefit concert is getting a little help from the Boss. On Dec. 13, Bruce Springsteen will headline the seventh annual concert that benefits educational programs for children and adults on the autism spectrum at The Town Hall in New York.

Put together by Steve Earle and City Winery, the evening will also feature performances from Steve Earle & the Dukes, Rosanne Cash, The Mastersons, Willie Nile and Matt Savage.

Ticket sales for the event will go on sale Wednesday (Oct. 26) at 3 p.m. ET, starting with VIP presale packages ranging from $300-$8,500. VIP packages will include Town Hall’s orchestra seating, as well as admission to the After Party at The Loft immediately following the show and various experiences with Earle. Billboard Pro subscribers will have presale access to VIP packages starting today by using code “billboard” at CityWinery.com.

The event is named after Earle’s son, John Henry, who is a student at The Keswell School, an educational program for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Keswell School was founded on the belief that children diagnosed with ASD can live full and productive lives as integrated members of their communities and provides educational, therapeutic and supportive services for children diagnosed with ASD and their families.

“The John Henry’s Friends concerts are obviously a labor of love for myself as well as an expression of the generosity of all the performers who have suited up and showed up over the years,” said Earle in a release. “I’m especially grateful for this year’s new friends, my neighbor Willie Nile, my old friend Rosanne Cash and my hero Bruce Springsteen.”

Past performers in these annual events include Graham Nash, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter and Amanda Shires among others.

Additional VIP packages will go on sale Friday at 3pm ET, followed by general admission presale for Town Hall and City Winery members on Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. ET. Remaining general admission tickets will go on sale Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. ET and range from $75-$150.
