Ninja Kiwi continues to push boundaries with Bloons TD 6.
Ninja Kiwi has rolled out update 52.0 for Bloons TD 6 and simultaneously launched the ambitious Frontier Legends expansion.
According to the studio, Frontier Legends is intended as a “game within a game.” Players step into the role of the sheriff of Sandittown in a full narrative campaign featuring dozens of maps, character customization, mini-games, and monkeys with RPG-inspired unique traits.
The expansion introduces six new bloon types: Dynamite, Glass, Diamond, Aura, Vengeance and Leaders. Each type has distinct mechanics — from reflecting damage to empowering allied waves. The campaign culminates in a showdown with a new boss, Diamondback, drawing inspiration from Bloons Super Monkey 2.
Alongside the DLC, the base game receives the new paragon Herald of Everfrost, the expert map Tricky Tracks, and the Frontier Legends Trial quest chain — an introductory mission that precedes the DLC.
The update also brings balance adjustments, bug fixes, and user interface improvements. Ninja Kiwi plans to expand the game further in 2026 with a curses system, additional bosses, new mini-games, a mod editor, a cooperative hub, and other features.
The update is already available on PC and mobile devices. The Frontier Legends DLC is sold separately for $12.99.
