Arknights Endfield Developers Modify Unity to Support High‑Poly Heroes and Satisfactory‑Style Factory Building

You won’t just admire the characters — you’ll be able to set up a full production operation.

The team behind Arknights Endfield at Hypergryph recently revealed some technical details. The game is built on the Unity engine, which the developers have extensively customized.

After adjustments, character models in Arknights Endfield use roughly 80,000–100,000 polygons. The mobile build will target about 40,000–50,000 polygons. According to the developers, that figure is roughly one and a half times the average polygon count found in other 3D titles.

The game can display up to four playable characters on-screen simultaneously, which places significant demands on rendering.

However, Arknights Endfield offers more than a varied roster — it also incorporates factory-building gameplay reminiscent of Satisfactory. Players will be able to manufacture equipment, fulfill contracts for an outpost, and earn rewards.
