Arkane Lyon is working on Marvel’s Blade; game director asks fans for patience

Production on Marvel’s Blade is moving forward steadily at Arkane Lyon. The game’s director recently took to social media to confirm that the studio is fully immersed in the project’s development.

Since its initial reveal at The Game Awards 2023, concrete details regarding Marvel’s Blade have been remarkably scarce. This prolonged silence sparked concern among the community, leading a user on X named TheArkaneRealm to inquire about the game’s current status. Creative Director Dinga Bakaba responded to the query, reassuring fans that work is ongoing and asking for their continued patience as the team crafts the experience.

The developers are reportedly pouring their passion into the title, with the studio expressing immense pride in the progress made so far. Bakaba emphasized that they are striving to create a truly unique gaming experience, one that aims to exceed the high standards and expectations fans have come to associate with the studio.

However, the wait for Arkane Lyon’s take on the iconic Daywalker will likely be a long one. During the 2023 announcement, it was noted that development was still in its earliest stages. Adding to this, industry insider Jeff Grubb has suggested that Marvel’s Blade might not hit shelves until 2027 at the earliest.
