The developers of Arc Raiders recently showcased a fresh batch of cosmetic bundles, featuring a particularly striking horned ensemble.
While the “Misthorn” outfit looks incredibly imposing in promotional materials, it is causing unexpected hurdles during actual gameplay. Raiders who purchased the set and headed into the fray quickly discovered that the massive antlers significantly obstruct their view.
Since Arc Raiders utilizes a third-person perspective, the oversized headgear becomes a major nuisance when aiming, cluttering the screen and making it difficult to track targets effectively.
To regain a clear line of sight, players must unequip the headgear entirely. However, removing it strips the Misthorn skin of its signature look, and unfortunately, the mask cannot be worn independently of the antlers.
The community has jokingly labeled this a “sacrifice for the sake of fashion,” highlighting the classic conflict between aesthetics and functionality.
