A closer look at the historical data reveals a remarkable streak. Since early November 2025, Arc Raiders has maintained its position at the apex of the premium game charts. The only significant disruption occurred during Black Friday week when the Steam Deck hardware took the lead, and even then, only the free-to-play titan Counter-Strike 2 managed to eclipse its revenue.
The SteamDB concurrent player counts paint a similar picture of sustained engagement. Even on its “slowest” day in mid-December, the game boasted over 263,000 active players—a figure most AAA titles struggle to reach at launch. New Year’s Day saw a massive resurgence with 428,579 users, hovering remarkably close to its all-time peak of 481,966 recorded in November.
Aside from the lingering debates over AI assets, the player base appears thoroughly satisfied with the experience. It seems likely that this period of dominance will persist well into the new year. With Resident Evil Requiem being the first major threat to its throne in early 2026, Arc Raiders may well remain the king of Steam for several more weeks.
Some Arc Raiders players have reported a frustrating bug that prevents weapon swapping during critical firefights.
