Adam Jensen actor calls Deus Ex franchise owners “psychopaths”
The long-standing drought of new entries in major franchises is clearly grating on more than just the average player.
Recently, the Deus Ex community was jolted back to life following a candid social media post from the “real Adam Jensen.”
Elias Toufexis, the voice actor who portrayed the cybernetic protagonist in the most recent Deus Ex titles, shared a breakdown of his upcoming projects scheduled for a 2026 release.
His roster includes four major titles: three that remain strictly under NDA (non-disclosure agreements) and Bungie’s Marathon. However, he accompanied the list with a scathing critique:
…there is no Deus Ex because the people in charge of it are psychopaths.
As it stands, the last installment in the series, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, was released nearly a decade ago in 2016. While persistent rumors suggested a new project was in the works at Eidos Montreal, industry insiders later confirmed that the title had been unceremoniously scrapped.
