Arc Raiders Developers Address Grenade Crafting Price Hike and Reveal Next Nerf Target Amid Fan Outcry
The revised crafting requirements haven’t exactly been met with universal acclaim.
The recent launch of the Shrouded Sky update for Arc Raiders introduced plenty of fresh content, yet it also sparked frustration among a significant portion of the player base.
The fan-favorite Wolfpack grenade was hit with a significant “economic” nerf. While its combat performance remains unchanged, crafting it now necessitates a rare component harvested exclusively from “Rocketmen” enemies.
As a result, Arc Raiders enthusiasts have been vocal in their disapproval, labeling the change a “poorly conceived” design choice:
The developers justified the modification by explaining that the recipe was overhauled to ensure the resource cost more accurately reflects the weapon’s actual power in the field.
Furthermore, they signaled that the IL Toro shotgun is next on the list for a balance pass. Concerned players on the official Discord* channel are already pleading with the studio to leave their preferred firearms alone.
Additionally, the team is working on a fix for a visual bug involving the display of the specialized suit awarded for completing expeditions.
