A growing number of Arc Raiders players are finding themselves completely defenseless after a bug prevents them from drawing their weapons mid-raid.
The recent implementation of “winter” weather mechanics in Arc Raiders was initially marred by a blueprint drop rate glitch. While the development team was quick to calibrate those rewards, a far more disruptive technical flaw has since come to light.
This new issue effectively disables a player’s ability to use any firearms, rendering them unable to participate in combat. High-profile streamers Ninja and Nadeshot were recently caught off guard by this game-breaking error during their live broadcasts.
The glitch appears to trigger after using traversal tools like ziplines or grappling hooks, which leaves the character’s weapon “stuck” in the holster. For the streamers, this occurred just as they were preparing for an engagement, leading to a swift and unavoidable defeat.
Players who encounter this bug are left with no choice but to rely on stealth or attempt to negotiate with hostile raiders. Without the ability to defend themselves, survival becomes a matter of pure luck or successful evasion.
