A Gift for Stardew Valley Fans for the Anniversary: Massive Mod Released with 15 Locations, Consequential Choices, and New Content
Stardew Valley continues to flourish, driven not only by ConcernedApe but also by its passionate community.
As Stardew Valley approaches its 10th anniversary, modder mistyspring has unveiled a massive content update to commemorate the milestone.
The “Ginger Island Extra Locations – Redux” mod introduces 15 brand-new environments to explore, alongside fresh wildlife, culinary items, dozens of unique fish species, and a variety of crafting recipes. This expansion also brings new artifacts and specialized tools to further deepen the gameplay loop.

Ginger Island now features its own dedicated “community center,” where player choices carry real weight. The narrative system is designed so that dialogue decisions have lasting consequences; depending on your interactions, a new NPC might even leave the island permanently.
“Ginger Island Extra Locations – Redux” is available for free via Nexus Mods. The developers have confirmed that the mod is fully compatible with multiplayer mode, “Stardew Valley Expanded,” and several other popular community modifications.
