7Launcher – Version history

v 1.6.9 May 30, 2026

Made downloads more resilient to blocking and added a new game.

  • New Games:
    • Added support for several major releases at once: Forza Horizon 6, Stellar Blade, Subnautica 2, PRAGMATA, Windrose, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, and 007 First Light (planned).
  • Interface:
    • Added per-game launch options. Open the settings, set a custom launch line for the selected game and save it — for another game you can specify completely different parameters.
  • Downloads and Updates:
    • Starting a download no longer freezes the window. Source preparation and checks now run in a background thread — this applies to both P2P and 7Cloud. The Launcher stays responsive while it picks a working download method.
    • Improved pause and stop behavior: the button no longer flickers, the status correctly shows the stopped state, and closing the Launcher while stopping no longer hangs.
  • Fixes:
    • Installer download error messages are now translated into all Launcher languages.
    • Fixed the settings window layout and the built-in server browser in Left 4 Dead.
    • Numerous minor stability fixes throughout the Launcher.

    • Reworked source checks — the Launcher finds a working source faster and stops getting stuck on slow ones.

We made the download process clearer and added new games.

  • Interface:
    • Download and update progress is now visible directly in the Windows taskbar.
    • Reworked the game branch and version switcher.
    • Improvements to the main window.

    • Fixed the shifting of the version block when switching languages.
    • Improved the cleanup of temporary files during downloads.

We have expanded the list of supported games and strengthened the “foundation” of 7Launcher so that your downloads always reach the finish line.

  • Download and update system:
    • Added mirror support for auto-updates. If the main server is unavailable, the Launcher will automatically find a working one.
    • Optimized the rollback policy and data integrity checks. Downloads are now even more reliable.
    • When changing the installation path, the Launcher now automatically cleans up outdated temporary folders. No more unnecessary junk on your drive!
  • Visuals:
    • The window minimize/restore animation is now smooth.

  • Download and update system:
    • A smart switch to direct download has been implemented: now, if the P2P speed drops below 1 Mbps or the peer search takes a long time, the Launcher automatically switches to an alternative download method.
    • Peer check and low speed timeouts have been increased for more stable operation in poor network conditions.
    • Fixed an issue with the interface freezing when switching download sources.
  • Interface and fixes:
    • HiDPI: Fixed an issue with incorrect window size on monitors High resolution.
    • Window layout artifacts (system frames) have been eliminated and standard animations have been restored.
    • Window behavior when minimized has been fixed.
  • Game Changes:
    • Cyberpunk 2077: Language switching has been implemented for the Steam version of the game.
    • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: Language switching support has been updated.

We’ve upgraded the download algorithm, added Turkish, and expanded the game catalog. What’s new:

  • New download algorithm
    If the main download method is not fast enough or takes too long to connect to peers, the Launcher will automatically switch to a fallback method and continue the process.
  • Interface improvements
    The outdated “Stop” button has been replaced with a clearer “Pause”.
  • New language added
    All windows, dialogs, and buttons have been translated into Turkish.
  • New batch of games
    Support has been added for the following games: Hades II, Battlefield 6, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4, Factorio, Satisfactory, Stardew Valley, Sons of the Forest, Supermarket Simulator, Expedition 33, RoboCop: Rogue City, and s&box.

It’s now easier to download and there’s even more to play. New releases are already on the way! 🚀

  • Fixed error of reading and writing Launcher parameters on systems where local codepage differs from single-byte codepage.
