30 Million Rounds and 800,000 Rubber Ducks: ARC Raiders Developers Reveal Test Results
After the Server Slam concluded, Embark Studios shared the test findings and confirmed plans to launch ARC Raiders on October 30, 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The studio highlighted four main areas for improvement: overall stability, airborne ARC, the Dam Tower, and visual settings.
Players helped surface stability issues that are now being addressed. Flying ARC proved too dominant — their balance will be adjusted to promote fairer encounters. Access to the Dam Tower will be reduced, since it contains high-value rewards. Visual options will be refined to improve performance without severely degrading visual quality.
The studio also published statistics: players completed 30 million rounds over the weekend and destroyed 58 million ARC. The deadliest class was the Rocketeer, with more than 2.3 million kills. Players defeated 77 of the most powerful ARC — the Queens. The test’s favorite weapon was the Ferro. Fun tidbits: 816,162 rubber ducks and 96,000 recorders were collected; 2,669 players were knocked off while using a recorder, and 26,676 players were struck by lightning.
Peak concurrent players on PC reached 189,668. Server Slam took place on the Dam Battlegrounds, where teams scavenge resources, fight ARC and rival squads, and join forces to bring down the Queen.
