Refreshed Company Logos and Matching Paintjobs Arriving in 1.57

With the forthcoming 1.57 update, our Vehicles team has overhauled the selectable company logos and the coordinating paintjobs for trucks and trailers. The effort focuses on contemporary visual language while preserving the recognizable look that players have enjoyed for years. Below is a closer look at the design work and the team behind it.

Team & inspiration

Lead designers Matej and Tomáš spearheaded the project, drawing on recent UI refreshes as a starting point. The pair proposed a streamlined set of modern company marks, intended for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, alongside coordinated paintjobs tailored to a variety of vehicles.

Design process

Once concepts were approved, the team moved into an iterative design and validation phase. The work required close collaboration across specialists to ensure each paintjob adapts naturally to the differing geometries of truck cabins, accessories, box trailers, doubles, tankers, and dumpers. Matej and Tomáš worked alongside the paintjob department for several months to fine-tune scale, placement, and flow so decals look cohesive on every vehicle type.

“We wanted to modernize the collection while keeping the essence of the originals so players still feel that familiar connection,” explains Tomáš. The goal was to refresh the aesthetic without losing the nostalgic cues that long-time players value.

More customization options

In addition to visual updates, the new paintjobs offer expanded customization — every design now supports an RGB color picker. Players can either select from curated preset palettes or customize colors precisely to their preference, enabling greater personalization for both new profiles and established companies.

We’re excited for players to try the refreshed logos and paintjobs when version 1.57 launches. Whether you’re creating a new profile or updating an existing fleet, the updated visuals aim to feel modern while still evoking the classic identity you recognize.

Matej adds a final note for the community: American Truck Simulator players will receive comparable updates in a subsequent release. We’d love to hear your thoughts — share feedback on social media, the official forums, or in the comments below.
