🐝 The Garden Update has ARRIVED, bringing a host of exhilarating new tools and items!

You can now download it for free (the process should initiate automatically) and get ready to tackle some backyard projects!

We sincerely appreciate all the feedback you’ve provided on Steam and at https://houseflipper2.canny.io/. Many of your ideas and suggestions are incorporated into this update, and we take great pride in collaborating with our community to enrich House Flipper 2 with fresh content.

📑 Let’s delve into the changelog!

New Features:

A new job: “Arranging My New Garden” in Old Pinnacove, unlocked after completing “New Walls, New Me”.
Discover “The Alligator Bar,” a captivating new house in Old Pinnacove, unlocked after finishing the new job.
Explore the Gallery feature with saved Before & After photos! Enjoy reviewing your renovation decisions at any time.
Engage in lawn mowing, accessible via the tool menu after completing the new job or by purchasing a lawn mower from the store.
Utilize a Sandbox mode tool to set up lawn mowing quests, where players must mow until the lawn is Tidy or less.
Over 200 new items introduced! (Details below)
Introducing a new Sandbox mode tool for Visual Effects, such as falling leaves 🙂
Encounter new trash varieties, including eggshells and leftover pizza slices.
Items can now be locked and require a key to unlock! Use the Edit Wiring tool in Sandbox/Edit Level mode to connect a key from the store to an item like a door. In Flipper mode, players must locate the key to unlock the door, perfect for puzzles and mysteries 😉
A refreshing new spring-themed main menu 🙂
Sort items in the store by size.
Modifications:
Disabling automatic Sandbox saves also turns off autosaves when returning to the main menu. Exercise caution! Remember to save manually if needed!
The Quests view on the tablet now indicates how many rooms still have pending tasks.
Houses and jobs now boast subtle visual effects like falling leaves, enhancing ambiance 🙂
Windows can now be cleaned from either side.
Window cleaning requires only the removal of visibly dirty sections.
New loading screen tips to engage you.
Flipper Tool/Duplicate and Flipper Tool/Copy style now offer the “Open in store” option for items and surface finishes like paint and wallpaper.
The “Just like dominoes” perk for surface finishes now displays tiling direction lines.
Certain developer codes have been disabled for your safety – thank you for your understanding!
Various UI and gamepad enhancements.
The entire mod.io view has been refreshed.
Added SSO login support for mod.io.
Item Updates:
Color palettes now start with vibrant Pure colors and conclude with Drab shades.
Added new TV channels, including a broken screen and NO SIGNAL.
Billiard balls now fit evenly within the billiard triangle.
“Building molding Jungfrau” pieces have been renamed for better distinction among types. Welcome Arch, Cube, Prism, and more!
Path rocks and slabs are designed to sink into the ground.
Over 200 Items! Featuring:
Four new patterns for wallpapers and furnishings.
Four new surface finishes.
2m and 4m ladders.
Doorbells – ring ring!
Four new garden fences.
Enjoy swing chairs and a hammock for garden relaxation.
Garden ornaments and accessories – hoses, birdbaths, figurines, etc.
Create garden paths with path rocks or slabs that embed into the ground.
Construct garden structures such as decks, pavilions, arches, and more.
Discover a charming new bike.
Ornamental plants, including the Ficus tree and ZZ plant.
Shrubs and trees – such as Lilac and Cherry Blossom in various sizes.
38 new lamp designs across several sets, prominently featuring Skadi, Futuro, Homefort, and Extravaganza.
Customizable LED light strips!
Modular sauna set with dedicated doors, floor panels, benches, heaters, and accessories.
Public bathroom set, complete with hand dryers and a urinal.
A massage table.
An array of spice jars and racks for a flavorful kitchen.
A bedroom set tailored for Skadi/Kirsikkapuu.
Two beds sans frames.
Patio seating and coffee table for Valenti/Chambord.
Living room seating and tables for Homefort/Byron.
Numerous customizable picture frames.
New posters, decorative eggs, figurines, and wall decor.
Three arcade machines.
Air hockey set.
New tools like wrenches.
First aid and fire extinguisher kits.
Co-op Enhancements:
Player avatars now feature profile pictures in the lobby.
Emotes! Express yourself without speaking!
Player nicknames are displayed above their heads. No more guessing who’s who.
If issues occur when loading or switching parcels, players will no longer be trapped in indefinite load screens—they will be smoothly disconnected.
Most achievements are now available in co-op mode (only one more to implement).
Corrections:
Fixed molding placement issues for improved behavior.
[Assembly] The cursor now hides correctly when using a hammer.
[Assembly] Screw progress is clearly visible.
