Yostar Reveals Stella Sora Release Date and Unveils Music Video for Gacha‑Roguelike About an Isekai Protagonist

Late October is shaping up to be busy with gacha releases on PC and mobile — and a new project from the teams behind Arknights and Azur Lane is imminent.

Yostar has revealed the global release date for its new anime RPG, Stella Sora. The title will launch on October 19 for iOS, Android, and PC. In the story, the protagonist Tiran has no memory of his past and wakes up in an eccentric world that fuses fantasy visuals with retro-modern touches.

Stella Sora combines action-roguelike gameplay with gacha mechanics. Players will assemble three-member teams of heroine “Trackers” obtained through gacha, pick up random upgrades during runs, and tactically use each character’s combat abilities according to their roles to probe deeper into the Monoliths.

In addition to the main campaign, the game includes extra modes — duels, bullet-hell style boss encounters, and character relationship progression.

Notably, Stella Sora arrives during a crowded release window and will face competition not only from established anime-RPGs but also from several new titles. These include Chaos Zero Nightmare (October 22) and Resonance Solstice (October 30), both centered on card-based battles, as well as Duet Night Abyss — a more traditional experience in the vein of Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves — scheduled for October 28.
