Classic gaming is being revitalized through NVIDIA’s cutting-edge toolset.

A modder known as Safemilk recently shared a progress update on the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines RTX Remaster project. Utilizing the NVIDIA RTX Remix platform, this overhaul significantly enhances the visuals of the cult-classic vampire RPG by integrating advanced ray tracing technology.

Every single texture for the walls, windows, and doors comes with three or four variations: aged, heavily weathered, filthy, scorched, and so on. Working through all these versions has turned into quite a grind. While the actual creation process isn’t overly complex, it is incredibly time-consuming and repetitive.

Safemilk noted that while most of the furniture is still a work in progress, draft versions for many environmental objects have already been implemented.

There is currently no official release date for the full version of the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines RTX Remaster. The project continues to be developed and distributed via ModDB.
