Tool drummer Danny Carey was arrested last night after Kansas City International Airport Police responded to “a report of a disturbance between two males in an airport terminal,” a spokesperson for the Kansas City Aviation Department tells Pitchfork. Carey was taken to a police department but is no longer in custody, the spokesperson said. The drummer was booked for misdemeanor assault, according to TMZ. When reached by Pitchfork, a representative for Tool offered no comment.

Carey, who grew up in Kansas, performed with the University of Kansas marching band during Saturday night’s college basketball game between the Missouri Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks. The game took place at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas.
