Bethesda maintains a keen interest in the community’s creative endeavors.
Todd Howard recently sat down for a conversation with IGN, where he was asked about his familiarity with Fallout: London, the ambitious total conversion mod for Fallout 4.
The developer admitted that while he has seen various trailers and gameplay clips for Fallout: London, he hasn’t had the opportunity to experience it firsthand yet.
When the interviewer pushed for more detail, asking if he had tracked its progress at all, Howard replied:
Just a bit. I would say we keep an eye on what’s happening in the modding scene, and when you see these total conversion mods… I just want to say, it’s incredibly difficult. The fact that the mod even released is a miracle, as so many projects like this never see the light of day. Seeing them bring it to launch, and seeing a huge portion of the fanbase loving it, is just… I want to acknowledge that for these modding teams, developing such projects is a long and grueling journey.
The Fallout: London mod is currently available for free, with distribution hosted on platforms like GOG.
