Following the debut of the first “Avengers: Doomsday” teaser, fans finally received long-awaited confirmation of the persistent rumors surrounding Chris Evans’ resurgence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Steve Rogers.

For the Russos, the return of Evans represents a poetic milestone.
