Techland’s cancelled game Hellraid is being resurrected as Dying Light DLC

How typically does a game get new DLC 5 years on? Maybe extra typically than I can recall offhand however hey, right here’s Dying Light saying an upcoming DLC for its zombie motion parkour world from 2015. As with the primary game, you’ll have the ability to dive into Dying Light – Hellraid both alone or with associates. It’s deliberate for launch someday this summer time.

Apparently no one is aware of the place the spooky arcade cupboard got here from. It simply appeared within the basement of the Tower after an influence outage and, having discovered no classes from 80s after faculty specials, people simply determined to hook it up and play it. “Explore a new dungeon area, arm yourself with brand-new weapons, and face vicious enemies straight from the depths of Hell,” Techland say. Ah grand, so like Jumanji however a hellish arcade cupboard as an alternative of a devious board game.

Interestingly, Hellraid is outwardly the legacy of a very completely different Techland game that obtained the can years in the past. In Hellraid the DLC’s description, they confer with the now undoubtedly useless Hellraid the game as a “first-person fantasy slasher.”

Hellraid will likely be accessible someday this summer time, although Techland didn’t point out a date or worth with the announcement. You can discover it on Steam.

By the by, one other factor we don’t have a date for is Dying Light 2. Back in January, Techland announced that the sequel would be delayed however haven’t but dedicated to a brand new date. Here’s all our different information about Dying Light 2’s release and trailers.
