Nintendo has officially confirmed that it will host a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5. The presentation is scheduled to premiere at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET and will be available to stream via YouTube and the official Nintendo website.
Word of the event first surfaced through the Nintendo Today application before being formally announced across the company’s social media channels. According to Nintendo, the broadcast will span approximately 30 minutes, highlighting upcoming software for both the current Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2. As this is a dedicated Partner Showcase, viewers should expect the focus to remain on third-party collaborators rather than internal Nintendo franchises.
The third-party release calendar for the Switch 2 is already looking exceptionally robust. High-profile titles slated for release soon include Pokémon Pokopia (March 5), Capcom’s Pragmata (April 24), and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection (March 13). Additionally, a horror-heavy lineup featuring Resident Evil Requiem, Village Gold Edition, and Biohazard Gold Edition is set to arrive on February 27. Other notable entries include WWE 2K26 (March 6), Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties (February 12), and the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection (March 27). This showcase will likely provide deeper dives into these titles alongside a few brand-new reveals.
With the event less than 24 hours away, the wait for more information is nearly over. In the meantime, you can explore why Mario Kart World is currently the Switch 2’s most dominant title, or read about the milestone of the original Switch officially becoming Nintendo’s most successful hardware ever.
