How to Get High-Tenacity Fibers in DMZ in Modern Warfare 4

High-tenacity fibers in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode rank among the most coveted crafting materials, particularly for newcomers still finding their footing, since they feed into several upgrades at your FOB. Chief among them is the uncommon ingredient printing upgrade, which unlocks the ability to produce crafting materials of a higher rarity.

If you’re desperately short on high-tenacity fibers in Modern Warfare 4‘s DMZ, these are the most reliable spots to scavenge.

In my experience, the most dependable source of high-tenacity fibers is the La Grand Vie rooftop in Songdo Wharf. It’s one of three spots the game lists under ingredient locations, but while the armory and barracks at Chang-san Air Base are crawling with hostiles, the La Grand Vie rooftop is far less crowded.

Be sure to search both the 13th floor and the rooftop itself, since fibers can turn up on either. They also tend to appear as loose items on the ground, so scan the floors thoroughly rather than relying solely on containers.

Expect a commander or two prowling around La Grand Vie. I’ve run into Colossus alongside either a Death Stalker or a Tank here before. Even so, staying stealthy should let you slip past them, and I’d suggest bringing a suppressed weapon to avoid sounding the alarm.

Better still, the Netshin Tech Complex sits just a short distance away, and it’s where you’ll need to plant a transmitter for one of the chapters, so you can knock out both objectives in a single trip.
