Tactical First-Person Mode Created for Resident Evil 4 Remake

A talented modder is successfully reimagining the game as an immersive horror-themed FPS.

Modder ErwinGunsmith recently revisited the Resident Evil 4 remake to offer a fresh perspective on the title. By introducing a dedicated tactical first-person mode, he has fundamentally altered the gameplay experience, bringing players closer to the action than ever before.

The modification features a seamless toggle system, allowing players to switch between the traditional third-person perspective and the new modified view. Furthermore, the creator has integrated a custom in-game interface that permits real-time camera adjustments, ensuring a tailored experience without the need to exit to the main menu.

ErwinGunsmith released a demonstration of the modification in action, showcasing how effectively it transforms the survival horror classic into a tense, first-person nightmare:

The “Tactical First-Person Mode” is currently available as a free download via Nexus Mods. To ensure proper functionality, the mod requires the installation of REFramework (by praydog) and _ScriptCore (by alphaZomega and SilverEzredes).
