The update also addresses specific frustrations within the DLC. A recurring bug where Pokémon would face the wrong direction when executing moves within “hyperspace pockets” has been resolved. This glitch often made it difficult to aim at floating Poké Balls for rewards, so the capture process should now feel significantly more precise.

Further technical improvements include fixes for a persistent weather glitch that left the world in a permanent sunny state, a bug preventing Shiny Pokémon from being correctly recorded in the Mega Evolution Pokédex, and an issue stalling the “Start Special Scanning!” side mission. The development team also cleaned up a cinematic error where unrelated images would occasionally flicker during mission sequences.

Community reaction to the patch has been overwhelmingly positive. Enthusiasts on social media are praising the developers for listening to feedback. “This is easily the best update we’ve seen. It would have been ideal to have these features at launch, but better late than never!” one user shared.

“Version 2.0.1 is a game-changer,” another player remarked, noting that the shard capacity increase was their personal highlight. They also expressed hope that a similar inventory expansion might eventually be applied to Gimmighoul coins in future titles.

Other trainers expressed relief at the end of tedious shopping trips. “Buying berries one by one was such a chore; I’m so glad bulk buying is finally here,” added a third fan.

Alongside these fixes, Nintendo officially revealed that Ranked Season 6 will run from January 29 to February 19. This upcoming season marks the first opportunity for players to obtain the rare Swampertite Mega Stone within the game.

Competitive insights suggest that certain Ground-type powerhouses could soon dominate the metagame once they transition beyond the specific ability limitations found in the Legends: Z-A environment.
