The creators behind Palworld don’t just make games — they also lend support to other independent teams.
Publisher Pocketpair Publishing, best known for the hit Palworld, has announced a collaboration with indie studio WizMUD Games. Their joint project, Vision Quench, is a cooperative looter‑shooter set in a dark‑fantasy world, taking place within the depths of a vast mega‑dungeon owned by a consumer conglomerate.
A four‑player squad will explore the multi‑level Green Tower, confront anomalies, monsters, and hidden threats, and fight their way to the summit in search of the legendary “lottery entry code.”
Vision Quench’s arsenal blends medieval weaponry with modern technology: swords, torches, and maces sit alongside automatic guns, fireworks, and high‑tech firearms.
One of the core mechanics is role distribution — one player can act as the pack‑carrier, gathering loot while teammates remain agile. Items can be passed by throwing, but careless handling can cause injuries or infections that may spread to allies.
If a character dies, they transform into a “Fricopop” — a tiny plastic figurine that can still assist the team by providing extra visibility and support.
Among other features, the developers promise full 3D voice chat that responds to room acoustics, along with extensive customization options.
Vision Quench is scheduled for release in 2026. You can already add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
