Official: Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in the fall of 2025, exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
The publisher Take-Two Interactive released a financial report, revealing interesting information:
• 200 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V have been sold, and the total franchise sales is 425 million copies;
• Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold 64 million copies, and the series’ total sales is 89 million copies;
• 86 million copies of the Borderlands series have been sold;
• The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is officially set for the autumn of 2025, only on current generation consoles.
On June 7, 2K Games will also present the next installment of “its biggest and most loved franchise” at the Summer Game Fest.
