Ryan Adams Guitarist Todd Wisenbaker Condemns “Sickening” Alleged Abuse

Ryan Adams guitarist Todd Wisenbaker has condemned the singer-songwriter’s alleged history of abuse, calling Adams a “monster.” Wisenbaker, who can also be a member of La Sera, urged Adams to “get help” in an Instagram post describing his makes an attempt to confront the issue prior to now. “I’ve since learned that pretty much everything he’s ever told me is a lie upon a lie,” Wisenbaker writes. “The women that spoke out are brave beyond words.” Katy Goodman, the La Sera and Vivian Girls frontwoman, who’s Wisenbaker’s spouse, additionally launched a press release. Adams was accused of abuse by a number of girls in a New York Times report printed final week. It featured interviews with a number of girls accusing Adams of habits starting from emotional manipulation to sexual misconduct, together with accounts from his ex-wife Mandy Moore, Phoebe Bridgers, singer-songwriter Courtney Jaye, and others. Adams denied the allegations, addressing the Times report on Twitter.
