Mitski is postponing concerts due to “a positive Covid test in the Mitski touring party,” she tweeted. Shows in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia are going to be rescheduled for later dates that will get announced soon. In addition, a concert at the Anthem in Washington, D.C. is being pushed from March 26 to March 28. (She’ll still play a sold out show at the venue on March 27.)

Mitski’s Boston shows were scheduled for March 21 and 22 at Roadrunner; the New York concert was set for March 24 at Radio City Music Hall; and the Philadelphia show was going to happen on March 25 at Franklin Music Hall. Mitski has tweeted that tickets for the original concerts will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Mitski is on tour in support of Laurel Hell. She began the North American trek in February and it had been slated to wrap up on March 31 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is scheduled to begin a tour of the United Kingdom and Europe in April. She has some UK concerts with Harry Styles lined up for June, too. And, on Saturday, July 16, Mitski will headline the second night of Pitchfork Music Festival at Chicago’s Union Park.

Mitski released Laurel Hell in February. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. In addition, the single “The Only Heartbreaker” eventually reached the top of the Adult Alternative Airplay chart.
