Leonard Cohen Wrote a Poem About Kanye

The Flame, a posthumous assortment of poetry by Leonard Cohen, was not too long ago launched. It features a poem titled “Kanye West Is Not Picasso.” Composed in March 2015, the poem makes reference to each Kanye and JAY-Z and contains strains resembling, “I am the Kanye West of Kanye West/The Kanye West of the great bogus shift of bullshit culture” and “I am the real Kanye West.” Read it under, by way of songwriter Amanda Shires’ Twitter.

The Flame is out now by way of Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Recently, Cohen’s son Adam revealed {that a} new posthumous album of his father’s recordings is within the works.
