Nearly 10 years later, indie developer accidentally makes their 10‑player co‑op platformer free on Steam: “I forgot that once you switch from paid to free, you can never go back”

With that revenue stream closed, Tecopark is directing players toward the paid entries in the series: “If you enjoy this free edition, be sure to try the other titles in the series (PICO PARK, PICO PARK 2).”

They’re well worth checking out. The Pico Park series is a delightful co-op platformer where colorful cats stack into pyramids and cooperate to solve puzzles; Classic Edition supports up to ten players.

The Classic Edition holds ‘Mostly Positive’ reviews from more than 1,800 player ratings, though recent feedback leans toward ‘Very Positive’ — possibly because players are more generous when they haven’t paid. 2021’s Pico Park remains the most popular entry, with roughly 9,200 user reviews and a ‘Very Positive’ rating — usually available for about £4 / $5.
