Since the release of The Last of Us 2, there have been quite a few changes within the Naughty Dog organization chart. We will not obviously go back on the departures of recent years, but we can recall that at the end of 2020, Neil Druckmann became the new co-president of the Californian studio, alongside Evan Wells. Today, we learn that Arne Meyer, who has served as Communications Director since 2008, has just taken off by becoming Vice-President. A position he shares with two other people already in place, namely Alison Mori and Christian Gyrling.
Thrilled to say that I’m now Vice President at @Naughty_Dog, joining the fantastic studio leadership team!
Proud to be expanding my responsibilities and working alongside them on things like people and culture, organizational practices, and the well-being of our devs. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/QR1zgYULMX

One of his main missions will be to make developers feel good about Naughty Dog. With the word released and Jason Schreier’s inquiries, the well-being of the team has become a central subject within the studio. A benevolent corporate culture that will lead to even stronger games in the best possible conditions. It is also on LinkedIn that Arne Meyer spoke. Here are his words:
Usually I wouldn’t have posted about a job change, but becoming vice president of Naughty Dog alongside the other four studio managers is a new and fulfilling chapter in my career. My responsibilities now extend beyond the internal and external communication of the studio. I am proud and it is with a certain humility that I am part of a team of incredibly smart and remarkable people who are committed to moving forward in these areas and to ensuring that the studio remains one of the best places to stay. developers who want to create extraordinary and important games.
Arrived at Naughty Dog in full production of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Arne Meyer is a man who has been seen many times at Naughty Dog press events. We imagine that his new position will allow him to access important decisions in the development of new games from the studio.
