Naraka: Bladepoint bringing ninja methods to multiplayer brawling

While I’m very completely satisfied for folk who’ve been duelling knights and vikings in Mordhau and Chivalry and that, my tastes in melee fight are slightly flashier. I’m happy tonight by the announcement of Naraka: Bladepoint, a multiplayer melee brawler coming subsequent 12 months with a giant bag of ninja methods. The huge reveal trailer from The Game Awards reveals garishly-dressed warriors utilizing leaping throughout rooftops, wallrunning, firing grappling hooks to latch onto foes and to cling to ceilings, and putting moody poses in bamboo forests and fields of blossoms. These multiplayer melee murders have my consideration.

“With an aim-at-whatever-you-want grappling hook and a sophisticated yet beginner-friendly combat system involving accessible block & parry mechanics, Naraka: Bladepoint is designed to provide a brand-new experience of melee combat and world exploration,” Chinese builders 24 Entertainment mentioned in in the present day’s announcement.

Details are on how this all works are slightly skinny for now. I’m crossing my fingers for swish ninja motion. That Sekiro hook motion offers me hope. Some of these honking nice firesword spins and issues are clearly past the real looking remit of Mordhau and hey, I’m an unrealistic particular person.

Naraka: Bladepoint via Steam in 2020. It’s received a website and all.
