Modders Unveil Updated “No Mercy” Campaign in Fan-Made Remaster of Left 4 Dead
The creators warn that this is currently a foundation for future modifications and may still contain technical issues.
Nostalgia Drive Team has released the first playable build of Left 4 Dead RTX NTD, built upon earlier work by modder xoxor4d. The project is a remaster of Valve’s 2009 cooperative shooter, developed using NVIDIA RTX Remix — a platform that recently received a substantial update introducing new visual features.
Left 4 Dead RTX NTD centers on the No Mercy campaign, reimagining its environments with higher-resolution textures, improved rendering and reflections, and hand-crafted lighting to create a more cinematic, atmospheric look.
A 7.15 GB work-in-progress build of Left 4 Dead RTX NTD is available for download on ModDB.
